I detour along WA 112, following the shore of the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Neah Bay. Neah Bay is noted as the northwestern-most town in the contiguous United States, a small, economically depressed, fishing town in the Makah Reservation. It is some 1100 miles from Rugby, North Dakota, the Geographical Center of North America.
