Tri-Coastal Ride 2014

Route 50 stretches across desolate terrain in Nevada, from range to range, basin to basin. It crosses numerous mountain passes with altitudes over 7,000 feet (2,100 m), that break up the flat desert with steep grades and hairpin turns. This area of North America is actively stretching, and the topography is the surface expression of that extension.
