Muir Ranch, the half way point, and an essential resupply point. I mailed a five gallon bucket here with 11 days of food. Recalculating for my pace, I decide to carry 10 days supply. The southern half of the trail is higher, steeper, and more remote, I hope I can keep up the pace.
